We primarily operate in the fantastic hunting grounds of the Waterberg Mountain region and specialize in plains-game hunting throughout the Limpopo province.

We offer attractive prices on all species of antelope and gazelles found in the bush as well as in open plains or savannah habitats. Check out our trophy price list, with fixed prices for common species. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us for pricing and further details.
Apart from wildlife management and bow hunting, we rarely hunt on our own lodge grounds unless our “chef” orders game meat for the kitchen. Most of our trophy hunting therefore takes place in the surrounding area, rarely more than 45 minutes’ drive from Waterfall.
This approach ensures that our guests have a greater chance of seeing and experiencing the beautiful animals close to our lodge.
Big Five
Our manager and resident Professional Hunter (PH) are licensed and officially registered for Big Five hunts and are happy to arrange your hunt for one of these trophies. Please note that it requires a minimum of three months of preparation and that we have specific requirements regarding the choice of caliber, ammunition, shot placement, etc. Contact our PH for further information. We arrange rental of hunting rifles and other equipment and can provide ammunition.
Our PH and lodge manager
We always recruit our professional hunters (PH) from South Africa’s oldest hunting families.
The knowledge, experience, and expertise of these families are unparalleled. The Trichard family, for example, was instrumental in opening up Limpopo as a hunting province over 300 years ago, and its members have been involved in hunting ever since. Our current PH and manager, Jan Trichard, was born and raised in the Waterberg Biosphere, and he has been hunting in South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia since he was a child!
We supplement with competent and skilled local PHs as necessary, always ensuring a top professional team.
